guess what betties?!?!

My blog finally got a much needed makeover!
WHAT DO YOU THINK?!?!

Huge thanks to Casey over at Blue Star Blogs for all of her hard work making everything look so good!

I figured to go along with the new look, I'd give everyone a background on the name of my blog.   I started out blogging just to share my (our) life with our families that we aren't able to be near due to the military.  I chose the title bleudress based off one of my favorite songs, Blue Dress by Ernie Halter 

and gave it a little twist as a way to express my love for hockey and anything French Canadian =) 

Just a few weeks ago, I thought about the fact that blue dress is the reverse of my husbands dress uniform, and thus, you have Bleu Dress and Dress Blues, a blog that has become all about our life in the military and our time spent stationed overseas in Japan as an Engineer (the US Army Corp of Engineers insignia is a castle, which is where the part about me being the Queen of our "castle" comes in)  =)
